Frequently Asked Questions

What insurance plans do you accept?

We accept most private insurance, including Blue Cross, United Healthcare, Cigna, Health Advantage, Amco.  If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call.   Have your insurance card in hand and we can answer any questions.



Do you take Medicare and Medicaid?

Due to very poor reimbursement, we are not currently taking any new Medicare or Medicaid.  We will continue to see those patients that are already established with us.



Do you take any worker's comp cases?

We do see worker's comp cases, but they must be pre-arranged with your employer.  Please have your employer contact us to set up an appointment and verify all information regarding the case. 



What if my child is sick and needs to be seen quickly?

We strive to maintain a smooth schedule and try to accomodate all patients.  We do understand that sometimes emergencies happen and we make all efforts to assist with those.  Please use our online appointment request or call our office as soon as possible to set up an appointment.  AGAIN, we make all efforts to offer SAME DAY appointments.

 



What about walk-ins?

While we don't turn away walk-ins, we strongly encourage appointments.  Since we are very accomodating on same day appointments, walk-in patients are not really necessary and only disrupt the daily schedule.  HOWEVER, if a minor emergency arises, such as broken bone, laceration, etc., please don't hesitate to come to our office.  We recognize accidents happen and will give priority to such cases. 



Do I need an appointment for just lab?

If you are just having routine labs done, NO you do not need an appointment.  Our lab hours are 8AM-12PM and 1PM-4PM.



What do I do if I need care after hours?

If there is a situation that absolutely CANNOT wait until morning, there is an after-hour system in place.  Dr. Jackson shares call with a group of local doctors and one will be on call each night after hours.  The on call doctor can be reached by calling NARMC ER at 870-414-4076.  AGAIN, this is a service only for matters that cannot wait until morning.
